Profile Dr. Hans-Georg Jenssen

Dr. Hans-Georg Jenssen *(1956) studied law in Hamburg where he received his doctorate in 1989 (thesis titled „European c-insurance – a contribution to freedom of service in Europe“). Before becoming CEO of Verband Deutscher Versicherungsmakler e.V: he had senior positions at Hamburg-Mannheimer Insurance from 1992 to 1997 (head of Legal Department and Chief Department Manager HR and Social Management) and worked at the Hamburg based law firm Segelken & Suchopar from 1988-1992, at the Hanseatische Oberlandesgericht Hamburg (Higher Regional Court) from 1984 – 1988 and the Institute for Insurance Science from 1983-1987.
