Profile Dr. Alexander Skorna

Dr. Alexander C. H. Skorna obtained a Master degree in business engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and gained first practical experience in the USA, Singapore and Hong Kong. In 2013, he obtained a PhD-degree at University of St.Gallen (HSG) in the field of business innovation. Within his PhD-period, Mr. Skorna worked as consultant and project manager at synesix solutions, a ETH Zurich spin-off, and developed preventive / risk mitigation solutions for the insurance industry. He is the author of numerous scientific and practice-oriented publications. Dr. Skorna heads today the business development department at insurance broker Funk, where he designs and implements complex, innovative risk solutions for clients on a tailor-made basis.
